Settings features

Open /b and select Settings. These rows configure BlackAddons itself. The Configs sidebar page handles saving, reloading, and resetting; it is described at the end.

Theme

Open Theme and use its Theme control to choose a preset or edit colors.
Preview the ClickGUI as you adjust it. The theme picker also supports importing a theme from the clipboard.
If an imported theme is hard to read, switch back to a known preset.

Global Font

Global Font replaces Minecraft’s default font. It is separate from the fonts BlackAddons uses for its HUD and world labels.

Open Global Font > Configure. Choose a font from the library or import a supported local outline font.
Preview it and adjust style, raster quality, spacing, alignment, shadow, or outline as needed.
Select Apply and enable Global Font. Its status reports applying, success, or a failure. Disabling the feature restores Minecraft’s font.

If a downloaded font is unavailable later, the feature can fall back to bundled JetBrains Mono. Check the status and reopen Configure before assuming the font changed. Bitmap-only fonts are unsupported.

World Font

Choose the typeface for text BlackAddons draws in the 3D world. Minecraft/Vanilla stays sharp at a distance; JetBrains Mono matches the UI.
Inspect a world label after switching the choice. This setting does not change the Minecraft-wide font.

HUD Font

Choose the typeface for BlackAddons HUD text such as stat bars and skill display.
Inspect a HUD element after switching the choice. This is separate from World Font and Global Font.

Scaling

Set Interface Scale for BlackAddons screens such as the ClickGUI and Profile Viewer.
Set HUD Scale for every BlackAddons HUD element, on top of individual sizes chosen in the HUD editor.
Leave Auto Scale on to keep BlackAddons at a consistent share of the screen when its resolution changes. Turn it off if you want its sizing to follow Minecraft GUI Scale more directly.
Reopen /b hud after a large scaling change to check positions and overlap.

Notifications

Open Notifications and set Duration for short BlackAddons notices.
Trigger a harmless notice such as copying feature settings, then check that you can read it before it fades.

Longer notices may stay longer on their own.

BlackAddons Chat

Open BlackAddons Chat. The default Chat Prefix is #; a message beginning with it goes to BlackAddons global chat. Double the prefix to send a server message that begins with the prefix. Empty disables prefix sending.
Use /b chat, the Chat Window button, or an assigned Open Chat keybind for history, replies, edits, deletions, and pictures.
Show In Game Chat echoes new BlackAddons lines while the separate window is closed. Image Preview shows linked pictures when you hover a BlackAddons line in game chat.

If the backend is disconnected, prefix messages stay out of server chat and report a local send failure. See backend troubleshooting.

Connection

Leave Live Updates on for immediate cosmetics and notices and online presence. When off, the mod polls instead and does not report you as online through the live connection.
Online Markers controls dots beside players currently online in BlackAddons; a missing dot does not prove someone is offline.
Use Restart Live Updates for the socket alone, or Restart Networking to restart connection and sign-in. /b net, /b net socket, and /b net restart provide the same diagnostic path in chat.

Actions

The Actions settings row controls waypoint appearance: Beacon Speed changes rotation (0 stops it), and Depth Check hides waypoints behind blocks when enabled. The Actions sidebar page is where you create actions, shortcuts, waypoints, locations, and profiles. Use /b action help for its command reference and Actions and waypoints for a first workflow.

Use Save Now to write current feature and HUD settings. Reload reads the saved file again and discards unsaved changes. Reset Settings and Reset HUDs are separate actions and ask for confirmation. The main file is the active Minecraft instance’s config/blackaddons.json; copy it before a manual edit or a reset. See configuration troubleshooting.
